Independent application guide

Thaksin University Admission Application

A practical guide for international applicants: where to apply, which June 2027 undergraduate criteria TSU has published, what to prepare and how to confirm details that vary by program.

VideshGuru is an independent education guidance platform, not an official representative of Thaksin University. Submit applications and fees only through TSUโ€™s official channels.

Start in the right place

Choose your applicant route

This guide focuses on international applications through TSU International Services and the International College. Thaksin University has separate application routes, notices and selection rounds. The June 2027 international prescreening notice directs applicants to the universityโ€™s international portal, while Thai applicants should follow TSUโ€™s domestic admissions portal and the current TCAS or university round details.

Before creating an application, choose the degree level, campus, program and intake. A university-wide application overview is useful for orientation, but the admitting faculty or collegeโ€™s own notice takes precedence for program-specific requirements and deadlines.

International applicants

Use the international portal and follow the notice for your intended program. The published June 2027 TSU-IC notice covers specific undergraduate degrees and its criteria should not be assumed for all TSU programs.

Thai applicants

Use TSUโ€™s domestic application site. Application rounds, documents and selection rules may differ from the international student process.

Undergraduate

Check the current school qualification, GPAX, age or nationality rules, language evidence and program availability in the intake announcement.

Graduate or research degree

Contact the specific program or graduate unit. Entry criteria, research proposal, supervisor and supporting material can vary by degree.

Application steps

How to submit a TSU international application

TSU International Services describes an online sequence that begins with an application account. The current portal and your programโ€™s notice are the authorities for exact forms, fee payment and deadlines.

  1. 1. Select a program and intake

Check the official course list, entry level, teaching language, campus, intake date and whether applications are open.

  2. 2. Read the program notice

Use the intake-specific requirements, eligibility rules, deadlines and submission instructions published by the college or faculty.

  3. 3. Create your account

Register on TSUโ€™s international student portal, verify your email and use the application form linked from the official site.

  4. 4. Upload required documents

Prepare legible scans in the requested format. Follow the program's instructions for translations, certification and document naming.

  5. 5. Submit and pay through official instructions

The portal says an application fee is required. Check the amount and payment instructions in the live system; keep the official receipt or reference.

  6. 6. Monitor your email and portal

Check for missing documents, interview requests, decisions and deadlines. TSU's general overview says 2โ€“4 weeks for a decision, but program schedules may differ.

  7. 7. Accept the offer

If admitted, review conditions and follow the offer letter for acceptance, deposits and further documentation.

  8. 8. Complete enrollment and visa preparation

Use TSU's official post-offer guidance for enrollment confirmation, registration, fee payment and visa steps. Check immigration requirements through official channels.

June 2027 international notice

Published undergraduate criteria

TSU-ICโ€™s notice for international applicants to the first semester beginning June 2027 lists the BBA International Program and BA English. It states the following screening conditions. The notice is intake-specific and does not establish requirements for every faculty, graduate program, Thai applicant or future year.

Verify the notice on TSU-IC

Nationality

Applicants must not hold Thai nationality, as stated in the international prescreening notice.

Age

The notice says applicants must be no older than 21. Confirm the relevant age calculation date with TSU-IC.

Previous education

Applicants must have completed or be completing upper secondary school or an equivalent qualification such as Grade 12 or GED. General academic and vocational backgrounds are listed.

Academic result

Minimum cumulative GPAX 2.00. GED applicants: minimum overall score 600 and at least 145 in each subject.

Programs named

BBA: International Business Management, Digital Marketing, Business and Computer Science. BA English: English and English for Communication and Career.

Application route

The notice directs applicants to the TSU International Student Application Portal. Check the page for current submission windows and updates.

Prepare before you submit

International applicant document checklist

TSUโ€™s general application overview lists common records, but explicitly marks some materials optional and does not replace the checklist for a particular degree or intake. Use this list to prepare questions; follow the live portal and program notice as the final authority.

Ask about international document rules

Confirm whether records need certified English or Thai translations, notarization, embassy legalization, official sealed delivery or verification from your prior school.

Passport copy

The general TIS checklist asks for a passport valid for at least six months. Confirm validity rules for your program and any later visa process.

Academic transcripts

Prepare official records for the required school or degree level. Ask if copies must be translated, notarized, legalized or certified.

Graduation or completion evidence

The international application overview lists a certificate of graduation. Applicants completing their final year should ask what interim school records TSU accepts.

English evidence

TSU pages differ on the score and whether test results are optional. Ask the admitting college which tests, scores, exemptions and validity periods apply.

Program-specific items

Portfolio, recommendation letters, research materials or other evidence can depend on the degree and intake. Do not assume a generic checklist covers every program.

Payment confirmation

The portal says an application fee is required. Confirm the amount, payment route and receipt or reference number in the official system before making a transfer.

English requirements

Confirm the score for your program

TSUโ€™s International Student Service Unit lists general undergraduate IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 500 paper-based / 61 internet-based, and says exemptions may be possible for native speakers or applicants educated in English. However, the general TIS application overview gives IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 500, while the June 2027 TSU-IC undergraduate notice does not state a language score.

Because the published pages do not fully align, do not assume a general score applies to every application. Ask the admitting college which tests, minimums, validity periods, exemptions or preparatory study options apply to your exact program and intake.

After an offer

Acceptance, enrollment and visa preparation

An admission decision is one part of the process. TSUโ€™s official Enroll & Arrive guidance says to follow the offer letter, submit any further requested documents, receive enrollment confirmation, register and pay fees by TSUโ€™s deadlines. The confirmation may be needed for visa preparations.

Visa requirements depend on individual circumstances and can change. Use TSUโ€™s International Relations Office for university documents and check the current requirements with the relevant Thai embassy, consulate or official immigration authority. Do not book non-refundable travel based only on a preliminary application status.

  1. 1

    Review your offer

Check program name, campus, intake, conditions, payment dates and any required acceptance action.

  2. 2

    Confirm the place

Follow the offer instructions for signing or replying, deposits and additional documents, if required.

  3. 3

    Receive enrollment confirmation

Keep the university-issued confirmation for subsequent university and visa steps.

  4. 4

    Complete registration and payments

Use TSUโ€™s official systems and payment details; save transaction records.

  5. 5

    Verify visa and arrival steps

Check current official immigration guidance and coordinate university letters through TSUโ€™s International Relations Office.
