TSU publishes both general international application guidance and intake-specific announcements. They do not always state the same GPA or English-score information. For the June 2027 TSU-IC undergraduate prescreening, use the specific call for its listed eligibility; for language proof, application documents, other degrees or later intakes, confirm the rule with the admitting college before applying.
Start with the right route
Thaksin University has international and domestic application routes, and its international program directory covers more than the programs named in an individual intake announcement. If you are applying from outside Thailand, first identify the degree, language of instruction, campus and semester, then check whether TSU has opened that exact program to international applicants.
The current TSU-IC notice is for a June 2027 undergraduate prescreening round. It should not be treated as the criteria for a master's or PhD application, or as proof that every program in TSU's broader directory is open in this round.
TSU-IC's announcement names these undergraduate options for the first semester beginning June 2027:
International program
English program
Other courses may appear in TSU's general program directory. Ask TSU-IC whether the course is open to international students in your intended semester and whether it has a separate call.
Published intake criteria

Language of instruction
TSU's International Student Service Unit lists general minimums of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 500 paper-based / 61 internet-based for undergraduate study, and mentions TOEIC 600 may be accepted depending on the program. It also describes possible exemptions for native speakers or applicants whose prior education was in English.
A separate TSU International Services application overview lists IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 500 and labels test results optional in its document checklist. The June 2027 TSU-IC notice does not specify an English score. Since the pages differ, request written confirmation from the admitting college before booking a test or relying on an exemption.
TSU's general application page provides a starting checklist. Individual programs may request additional or differently certified documents.
Do not send original documents or pay an intermediary until you have verified the submission instructions with TSU.
Application roadmap
Find the latest announcement for the degree and semester you want. Check the applicant category, eligibility, application window and whether prescreening is required.
Compare your nationality, age, school or degree credential, grades and language evidence with that call. Ask TSU to assess unfamiliar qualifications.
Use the official international application portal named by the call. Upload the documents requested in the live form and keep a copy of your submission.
Monitor the account and email used to apply. Reply to document requests and ask the admitting college about selection steps and decision timing.
TSU's general application page describes account registration, email verification, document upload and submission. Its stated decision estimate is general guidance, not a guaranteed timeline; use the program's instructions and any confirmation sent by TSU.
Start at TSU's international portalAfter you receive an offer
Review the conditions, program name and response deadline on your offer. TSU's Enroll & Arrive guidance says acceptance may involve signing or confirming the offer, submitting additional evidence, paying a deposit if applicable and obtaining enrollment confirmation. It then outlines registration, tuition payment and orientation steps.
The university's general application and tuition pages do not establish one universal fee for every applicant and program. Check the amount, refund rules and payment destination on an official invoice or current program notice before transferring money. Visa documents and immigration rules can change, so confirm them with TSU and the Thai embassy or consulate serving your country.
